I saw somewhere on here whe you use box cake mix and add extra ingredients in to to make the cake more stable for tier cakes. Does anyone have a good recipe for this?
With a good support system of doweling or using SPS any cake recipe should hold up to stacking. You could stack tiers of jello with SPS!
Look at my signature, for gourmet recipies all those are box extender recipies, that I use, you can print them off and keep them.
