Here's what I think she means. If you make two meals that day - you get paid a certain amount for both meals. If you make 50 meals that day - then you get paid for all 50.
You should ask her how much you get paid for each meal? Because if you are getting paid $2 for each meal. And you serve 10 meals - then you're only making $20 (for who knows how long). But if you are making $8 per meal and there are lots of meals - it could be a good job.
So definitely find out how much per meal you'll be making. Good luck!
