I'm taking the Wilton 2 Course and I need to make some flowers for the final class. I'm out of RI, but I have leftover color flow icing (stiff). I'm wondering if I can use that to make my flowers, or if I need to make a new batch of RI? I just hate to waste all that icing, butI don't think I'll be doing any more color flows soon.
I've never used color flow, but if my understanding of the product is correct, it cannot be subbed for RI.

I couldn't stand wasting my colorflow from class either, so made roses and rose buds to finish it up. They dried very hard and smooth.
oh is you're talking about left over butter cream, yes and you can add a little corn syrup and you won't get the ruffles on roses
