I have a cake to do this weekend and I was just looking for advice on the best way to make a silver looking icing. Any suggestions would be aooreciated!! Thanks in advance icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gif

I mix silver powder color and Everclear (180 proof grain alcohol) and paint it on. Hope this helps.

I found it better to add black to white icing/fondant to achieve a light gray this will create a great foundation to paint the silver luster dust/alcohol on.
