Thankfully this was salvageable but I though I'd prep for nextime.
I recently did a cake for a Baby shower (see my gallery) where I rolled and cut out flat fondant/gumpaste Shapes. After forming/smoothing the shapes I laid them out to dry on Parchment paper over the next few hours some of the shapes rippled....like they were still flat... just wrinkly on the top side... like i had laid them out wrinkled. For the most part these pieces were about a 50/50 mix of GP and MMF ... id say if anything i might have had a bit more MMF, but it was all in all close.
Any ideas on why this happened and how i can prevent this in the future?
Thanks all!
