So after talking it over with my DH we've decided that since I hate my KA 4.5qt mixer (it isn't big enough for the stuff I do), that with our tax return money I can get a new mixer....After reading a ton, and when I say ton I really do mean a TON of reviews I think I am going to go with a Cuisinart mixer, but I don't know if I should go with the 5.5 qt or the 7 qt?

Can I make a double batch of icing in the 5.5 qt or do I need to the get 7 qt for that? What are the pros of having a Cuisinart over a KA? What are some cons of the Cuisinart?

Thanks so much in advance.....I need to make my choice soon so when we get our money back I can buy it before my DH changes his mind and wants to spend it on our sail boat!
