I mad MMf for the 1st time I used the recipe on the website and it is crumbling, dry, gritty. What did I do wrong ? can I salvage it or should I start over?

Work on a warm surface. I use the flat ceramic cooktop after preheating my oven to 400. Always place fondant you are not currently working with in an air tight ziplock right away and leave in a corner on the stove top to maintain it's work-ability.
