What kind of cake do you do for a lady who lives on a ranch and works for the women's shelter??? Can't be major detailed, have only so much time to fit it in between now and Saturday morning.
Bump! No clue!
Red bandana pattern? Polka-dots are always a hit..
Thanks KristyCakes, that is a good starting idea, now I just need to incorporate the women's shelter part.
Is there a logo for the shelter where she works?
Yes, they do have a logo and it is pretty basic.
It is a horse ranch, I can use the logo for the shelter just trying to figure out the ranch part to go with it.
A gum paste girl in western boots holding a sign with the logo of the shelter or a quote about "empowering women" or something?
I saw red bandana wrapping paper at Dollar General the other day.....cover the cake board with that, do a square cake with the logo on the top and then maybe do a "wooden coral fence" w/ brown icing or fondant around the sides of the cake?
I just keep getting this thought about putting some butterflies. Something about her helping people change their lives....butterflies = change....
Just throwing it out there.
I like KHalstead's idea.
How about a 2D cake or flat picture on a sheet cake of a cowboy boot with a saying about kicking violence to the curb? (if that would be relevent to the type of shelter she works at)
love it jammjenks!
KHalstead & jammjenks, I like both of your ideas, thank you so much!!! I just couldn't wrap my brain around putting the two together.
