Just wondering where I find large dowels big enough to go through a 3 tiered cake. They have to be food safe? Does Micheals carry such things? I live in Ontario.
Thanks.

I buy wooden skewers from Kroger. They're plenty tall enough, they're food safe & they already have a sharp, pointy end! HTH....

Michaels has dowels large enough for a three tier cake in the cake decorating section (at least mine does...I'm from Ontario too...where abouts are you?).

Can I talk you into trying SPS? Someone in Canada has found it there.
