My friend loves the little zombie I made on her birthday cake and wants to be able to keep it. I know it will last well on its own but after time the enviroment could have its toll on it. What could she spray on it to help protect it and keep it looking good for longer?

She should store it in a ziplock bag or under a glass to protect it from dust.

if she wants to keep it and not eat it...just use shellac or regular varnish.

You could also just maker a new one out of polymer clay. Clay won't fade over time like the fondant will.
