I know this sounds ugly but this is what they asked for What do I charge for a 1/2 sheet cake covered in fondant with a 6 inch round stacked on top with a princess cut "engagement" ring (made out of rice krispy treats(diamond) and the band out of fondant) with fondant snowflakes all over the cake/cakes. I haven't the foggiest idea what to charge. It is WASC and WASC chocolate (layer of each) with BC filling. Please help, I hate this cake How much? Thought 50$ but feels like a lot of work

Don't think of it as a sheet cake. Think of it as a 12"x18" rectangular cake.

Wasn't 100% clear, but the half-sheet is 2 layer, right? Mine always are, so I'm going to go w/ that.

I do bake all my cakes from scratch using premium ingredients, so take that into account when looking at the prices below, you *may* decide to adjust accordingly.

Base price for fondant covered 12x18 cake filled w/ BC: $324
Base price for fondant covered 6 inch round cake filled w/ BC: $42.39
Fondant snowflakes: $1 per inch for each. So, for each 2" snowflake, charge 2 bucks, for each 3", 3 bucks, and so on.
4"x4" RKT diamond w/ band: $25

Yup, $324 for a two-layer 12"x18" filled w/ BC and covered in fondant.

ETA: That's 25 cents per cubic inch of cake plus 50% for the fondant.

Wow prterrell that is great! I know I am way undercharging here and I am getting really frustrated. I haven't been doing this very long so I always "low ball" my prices

Same  question for an 11x 15 in "sheet cake".  layered bc filled fondant covered with a dj turntable design. on it in fondant.

I was thinking $225.00 based on $3.50 a slice (60 slices) and $15 for the extra detailing.  Too little?  just right? ????

How tall is the sheet cake? 2" or 4" - makes a big difference in servings. $50 wouldn't even cover the 6" cake and ring on top.
