Hi - I wonder if someone could please help me.

This is the first time I've made a booby cake and the first time that I have used my 5" ball tin! I've split the two halves and baked the cakes separately and I'm going to cover them in fondant and put them onto a board, which I will have fondant iced to look like a torso.

What I'd like to know is: should I cut each booby in half and put in a buttercream filling or should I not bother and just do a thin crumb coat for the fondant to adhere to?

You can fill if you want. I always do.

I have made 2 booby cakes, both filled. Don't remember with the first one, but the 2nd one was for a chocoholic, so it was a Devil's food cake filled with dark chocolate-grand marnier mousse and iced in white chocolate BC. I used pale pink jujubees for the nipples.
