THis is as close to the color I need in buttercream as I can find to show everyone. It is such a dark purple that I am not sure what colors would be best. It looks like the dark color in the front of the jar...
Any suggestions? I have Americolor gels and I DO have time to order more colors if needed.
Any thoughts?
BUT IT NEEDS TO BE BUTTERCREAM
I'll keep looking too

Is it like a grape purple? I use this chart. Not sure if it will help you.

You can always add a little black to get what they have darker.

What brand of colors is this from??

The grape is maybe the lightest but at least on the right track! its something between the grape and black. I would add a photo but they all just look black..That powder color? is that just for coloring gumpaste?

go to the Americolor website - they will have a list of their different colors - find whatever is closest - if it's not dark enough add black. If you can't buy it from their site you can check if some of the other sites can get it for you.
