Hello everyone! Can anyone out there give me an idea on how much IMBC and fondant I would need for a 12,10, an 6 inch wedding cake? Also do you use 1 3inch layer torted twice (3 layers total) for each tier? Thank you so much for your help icon_smile.gif

According to the Satin Ice chart, you'd need 52 ounces, or about 5 pounds. That would be if you're rolling it exactly to specifications. Personally, I would order 10.
I torte each layer of cake, so there are 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of filling. I haven't used IMBC. I used SMBC. But, for that size cake, I would probably make 2 large batches, using 4 cups of eggs whites and 6 cups of butter total. There would be some left, but I just freeze it.
