Hi
i have a 1st birthday cake to do and they want a number 1. i have never covered a numbered cake before, just the round and square ones at this stage and if i can get some tips that would be great. i wasn't going to use a #1 cake tin so there would be three sections to the cake so i'm a little worried about it moving and about the angles too. any advice would be great cheers.

If its lying down flat it won't be a problem, just cover it the same way you would any other shape. icon_smile.gif Be sure to trim the cardboard around it first and maybe even elevate it on a couple of soup cans or something so the fondant hangs down and you can cut it off even at the bottom.
