What is the best way to store modeling clay? Can it be frozen? For how long? I am thinking of making a 3D figure for mil's b-day cake, with my dd in and out of the hospital and her frequent check ups I might need more than a few days to work on it.
I am planning on making it with almond bark, if that makes any difference.

Modeling clay does not need to be refrigerated or frozen. Just keep it well-wrapped to keep dust or crumbs out. I keep mine away from light as much as possible to keep colors bright. It keeps a long time - like months.
