I'm a Fondant newbie and I will be trying it for the first time today. How do you get the fondant cut out pieces to stick on your cake.

I just put a little bit of water on them to stick them on the fondant
Not to much because otherwise it wil melt the fondant

I use either water or some kind of extract

I use BC or melted choc
