I am getting ready to make a hot pink baby shower cake. Does anyone know of a great hot pink color in buttercream? Or do I just add a lot of pink color to darken it? Thanks in advanced!!

I would add just a little blue or purple to the pink

I have always used Wilton's Pink, with some Rose mixed in also, but mostly the Pink color.

In my pics, you'll see a 2 tier using Wilton Rose - that will give you a sample of that one! I really wanted a nice rose color and was shocked when I saw that bright pink!!!!

Americolor = Electric Pink. I used it for my Fluer di Lis cake.

Wilton's Rose will give you what my instructor called "Pepto Bismol" pink! icon_confused.gif Not too appetizing sounding, but it is PINK. If you want more of a bright magenta, the Wilton's Burgundy is most definatley not the dark burgundy color I was expecting.
