Well I have been searching high and low for food safe wire without any luck! I live in Ontario, Canada. I have tried Micheals and Bulk Barn. They either have no idea what I am talking about or direct me to the other store which then has no idea! Any ideas? Thanks!

You can put a straw (I melt the bottom together so the straw doesn't fill with cake) into the cake, then put the wire into the straw.
