I have a superbowl cake coming up and would like to mold a football out of rice krispy treats. I thought I would mold the football and cover it in fondant. Does the fondant go directly on the rice krispies, or do you cover it with buttercream. I'm thinking this will be really hard, how do you not get wrinkles on the ends of the football. I haven't covered many cakes with fondant, mostly just fondant accents. Any tips, I would appreciate so much, thanks
