I need some royal icing for piping but the recipe I have makes lots for making cookies and I can't possibly use it all up..Does anyone have a small recipe?

I have tried cutting a recipe down but it never works!!

I usually do one egg white, and 1 2/3 c icing sugar, then add water to the consistency that you want.
works every time!!

it's also called powdered sugar or confectioners sugar

Icing sugar is what we called powdered sugar here in Canada...LOL
