Hi All,

I have a bride that would like to have a 4 tier cake with gumpaste flowers (lilies, roses, hydrangeas) cascading from the top tier to the bottom (like the attached photo). How do I attach the cascade to the cake? The flowers will be wired. Usually, if the flowers are sitting on a horizontal surface, I just use coffee stirrers or straws to insert the wires into...but what about the flowers that need to be placed on the vertical sides of the cake. How do you attach those?

Any tips?

Insert the wires into the cake on the vertical sides same way on horizontal surface, but the big and heavy flowers on surface, and small one on vertical ( used plastic wrap the the wires)

so you don't use any type of straw to put the wires in to......just plastic wrap them and then directly into the cake?
