So, my sister in law and I did a baby shower cake this weekend, and after seeing it, I was asked by someone I don't know to do 300 heart shaped sugar cookies with royal icing for a wedding reception Feb 6. She didn't mention compensation. So should I just price ingredients and charge a flat rate for my time? How much should I charge? Does anyone have any ideas? If it helps, I am in Jacksonville, FL.

$5.00 per cookie packaged..I wouldn't do if for any less. This is a tremendous amount of work....It can be done but charge for it!!!I did 365 a few years back for a school and only charged them $1.50 per cookie.Never again....It only took me once to make that mistake!! It took me 4-5 days to do everything and that was about 5-6 hours a day.Very time consuming!!!
