I am looking for a chocolate suger cookie recipe that will not spread while baking, like the NFSC. thank you, Eva
Welcome Eva2...
Before trying another cookie recipe - have you considered putting your trays of cut out cookies in the ridge for about 10-15 minutes or so - then popping the trays straight into the oven.
It certainly stops them from spreading....
Many cookie makers on here do it -
However of you don't wish to try that - just click on the *search* tab above and type in Chocolate cookies...
I am sure there will be many to choose from.

this is the chocolate rolled sugar cookie recipe from "Cookie
Craft" It is excellent and I have used it many times.
There's a very, very good one posted here to Cake Central. Here's the link: http://cakecentral.com/recipes/6959/dark-chocolate-rolled-sugar-cookies
I think they said it originally came from the Cookie Craft book.
I used it last two years for my chocolate snowflake cookies and they bake perfectly.
I love the above recipe! I've tried a few and it's the best!
I have some photos in my gallery using it! Take a peek.
