I am looking for a chocolate suger cookie recipe that will not spread while baking, like the NFSC. thank you, Eva

Welcome Eva2...


Before trying another cookie recipe - have you considered putting your trays of cut out cookies in the ridge for about 10-15 minutes or so - then popping the trays straight into the oven.

It certainly stops them from spreading....
Many cookie makers on here do it -

However of you don't wish to try that - just click on the *search* tab above and type in Chocolate cookies...
I am sure there will be many to choose from.

this is the chocolate rolled sugar cookie recipe from "Cookie
Craft" It is excellent and I have used it many times.

I think they said it originally came from the Cookie Craft book.

I used it last two years for my chocolate snowflake cookies and they bake perfectly.
