Okay, before I wreck another cake, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on how to make one of those cakes where it looks like a road going down around it. I've seen a few on here with like cars going down the side of the cake but I can't figure out how to do it. I have tried using and 8in on top of a 10in and then carving it, but I just totally make a mess. Any help would be very much appreciated. TIA

Thanks all of you for the help. Sometimes I just can't grasp how to do something. I have a better idea now of how to do it. So hopefully, I can master it.
