In cake/sugar competitions, are entries that use licensed characters docked points for originality? I've never been or entered into one before; my first is in February. I wasn't sure if it was "frowned upon" or if it suffers in creativity points.

You really would do better asking this question to the stewards of the competition as EACH and EVERY competition has different schedules.

Would not be good if somebody on here gave you advice and it turned out not to apply to your comp.
