Ok so I bought buttercream from sams and it expires on Feb 10. Will it still be good for the 14th? Should I refrigerate it, I'm not going to use it for a client's cake, I'm just making some cakes for family for Valentines.

Does it say "Sell By" or "Use By"?
If it's sell by, it's fine. If it's use by, I personally wouldn't. But I am the paranoid type when it comes to expiration dates.
