I am planning on making Minnie Mouse Ears on cupcakes as well as on a cake along with some minnie mouse faces, and I bought Black Satin Ice Fondant. Do I need to mix anything to keep them together? Should I make them ahead of time and allow them to dry out? Is Fondant Glue or Gumpaste Glue the best thing to stick on my cake. I will be using SMBC as my covering. Thanks.

Fondant/Gumpaste glue are used to stick fondant/gumpaste to fondant or gumpaste so I wouldn't think you could use it here. I would make the ears a few days ahead to make the stiff. You can add some gum-tex to the fondant this way you know that it will hold its shape, for the ears. The face parts I would just place on the cupcake/cake. Hope it answered some of your questions.
