Do I have to use a crusting butter cream under fondant or will a not crusting butter cream work as well?
Also can I use cream cheese frosting under fondant and not have it mess with the fondant? TIA
I use IMBC, which is a non-crusting BC, under fondant. Many others use SMBC.
Cream cheese frosting apparently makes fondant melt.
AHH! I guess I'll skip the fondant on the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting - thanks for the quick response!
