I have clear acetate strips and parchment paper, but all the tutorials say to use wax paper. Is this best? or can I use what I have..

I've used parchment with no problems for an FBCT and I know others have used acetate successfully.

I prefer parchment or acetate for FBCTs because they don't wrinkle as much as wax paper.

When I've used acetate, I smear some crisco on it to facilitate the release of the transfer.

I've used regular plastic wrap on the FBCTs that I've done. I pull it tight around all the edges as I tape it down. I have had no problem getting the transfer to release and there have been no wrinkles on the flip side.

crisco is something I will have to try. I was having a hard time getting the transfer to release.
