Hi all,

I am always on the lookout for deals on cake stands/plates for displaying my work. Where do you buy yours? Any good resources?

Thanks!!

I see them on ebay, but I'm too cheap to pay the shipping that is usually charged. My local antique store has them at pretty reasonable prices. If you're just looking for a glass cake stand with a glass dome top, you can get them at Walmart. Even some pedastal candleholders or plates could work.

Local antique stores! I can usually find some really gorgeous ones between 10 and 30...you just have to look. Stands have gone out of vogue so you can usually find them cheap. I just LOVE looking and I have begun a collection that my dh does NOT appreciate! LOL!
