I used a recipe that I found from cooks . com to carve my nike shoes cake.

It is a very good recipe. Someone tasted the cake scrapes and now I have another cake request with that recipe. It's very easy. If you want it I'll be happy to send it to you.

Molly, I just checked and there were a few, this is the one I used except I used a strawberry cake mix since I already had a few. Didn't try the glaze

STRAWBERRY POUND CAKE

1 pkg. white cake mix
4 eggs
3 oz. box strawberry Jello
1 c. cooking oil
1 pt. frozen strawberries, thaw, drain and save juice, mashed

Put cake mix, Jello, eggs, oil, and berries in mixing bowl. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Cook well in floured tube pan 1 hour at 325 degrees. Let cool in pan.

GLAZE FOR CAKE:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. melted butter

Add small amount of strawberry juice, enough to spread on cake

Now I have to find a good crusting strawberry icing for my up-coming strawberry cake. Anyone have any good recipes for this?

Could you use a good butter cream frosting and add strawberry flavor and pink food coloring
