How do I make the mini sphere cakes? Is there a special pan for baking them? Then how do you cover them in fondant? Thanks!

Are you referring to the Christmas ornament type cakes? The ornaments in my photos are 1/2 of the Wilton mini ball pan on top of a cupcake (leveled). To cover in fondant, I used a 4 1/2" circle of fondant and just smoothed it down as I would on a cake. Can also use the same technique to make sports themed cupcakes or anything else you need to look spherical. HTH.

I did a few this past weekend.. yup, used the ball pan, my advice is to make sure they are super cold, before you cover them with fondant... icon_smile.gif
