I always have icing left over and don't want to throw it away and then end up needing it a week later. I only use crisco based icing. No butter. So my questions are.....

How do you store your leftover icing?
How long do you keep it for?
Fridge or Not?

if you put it in a sealed container in refrigerator, it should be good for at least 1 week, probably 2 weeks max. but you can also store it in the freezer for longer periods. remember to re whip it before using.

I seal mine in an airtight container, then wrap the container in a plastic bag. I put it in the freezer. It will keep for months. When I need it, I move it from the freezer to the fridge and next to my counter top 'til unthawed. Gently re-whip or stir and use.
