I need an opinion on what store-bought cookie pairs best with peach ice cream. Thanks.

I think a good store bought cookie with a southern flair is a pecan sandie.

Peach is a stone fruit and I always think that almond goes well with stone fruits, being in the same family and all.

I would definitely go with a nut cookie. I'm personally partial to pecan, but almond would work as well.

A ginger cookie goes reall good with peach, ginger snaps would work, put are a little hard IMO, if you can find Anna's Ginger Thins they would be perfect, we always get them at Cosco this time of year, but they should be in any store with a decent cookie selection. Be warned though they are so delicious and light, they are addictive!

I always liked the Stella D'oro Margherite Vanilla cookies even though I haven't had them in years...

The pecan version listed on this recipe is now one of my favorite cookies. I think it would be delicious with peach ice cream:
