After Christmas this morning I am one step closer to being a business. My husband drafted my articles of incorporation and registered my name with the state as part of my Christmas present. I officially have an LLC! Now we just have to work building a new house so I can have a separate kitchen dedicated solely to cakes and cookies. There is still a long way to go but its a step in the right direction.

Good idea! Thankfully my husband, while not an accountant, is a lawyer and happens to be great with numbers. He will be a good asset to have but I want to make sure that I know what is going on too.
