Anyone have any idea of how long it's good for if you never opened it.

I bought it approximately a year ago.

1 year shelf life if tightly sealed in plastic

It's likely still good, but use it soon.

I think a year is a little too long to reuse. Would you like to know that you're paying prime dollars for a cake that has year-old fondant on it?

I've decided that I will use the 40lbs of fondant for figures.

Santa brought my niece an Easy Bake oven.

I think we will make her birthday cake at Grandpa's so she can decorate.

She will like it. Worse case scenario, I will have to get a chocolate cake from HEB, which she actually loves.

Taste it. If it's not all dried out and taste good still it's probably ok to use
