A friend of mine has requested some rum balls. I've never made those before, but I want to WOW her. Does anyone have a recipe that is just delicious? Thanks in advance!

This is my family favored recipe. BUT, I am using imported Rum from Czech, because it has such a wonderful aroma. So I am not sure, which Rum or alcohol you could use for your rum-balls:
150 g raisins (about 1 1/4 C)
150 g nuts (walnut or pecan) - about 1 1/2 C whole nuts measured
150 g sugar powder - (1 1/2 c)
150 g chocolate semisweet (about 5 squares)
1 dcl Rum (1/2 c)
Put in the bowl the Raisins and Rum and let is soak overnight. The second day grained the nuts in the processor, melt the chocolate and mix all ingredients together. It will be sticky, put it in the fridge for 20 minutes or so, then make a balls. I grained some more little bit of nuts, and I like to "dip" those balls in the nuts. Here is the picture of balls I made.
