Hello I will be doing a 3 layer cake for my niece and shape like presents on top of each other How can I make the top cake look like the box has been opened. Thank you in Advance.

I have never done this, but I would think you could make a faux top out of fondant and gumpaste and just lay it against the back. Decorate the "inside" of the cake to look like tissue paper hanging out using fondant.

Have you searched the picture gallery? There has to be a picture of one that some amazing cake artist made!!!!

I have seen people do the top out of cardboard, and then just cover it with fondant. The bottom part of the box is the cake the lid its just for the show.
And since both are covered with the same fondant. Everything looks good.
Like a perfect match.
