One Betty Crocker cake mix will make two six inch rounds. I dont' use a timer. It irritates my daughter when she asks "How long to bake/cook it?" and I tell her, "Until it's done." So depending on your oven, your temperature and your baking methods, I'd guess 20-30 minutes.
