I am sure this has probably been asked but I can't find it in a search so...I made cake balls. How long do they last? Do they need to be refrigerated? Don't want a house full of puking people at Christmas!!

Thanks!

You can freeze them. And I don't know how long they last because, they're eaten right away.

Once I dip them in the chocolate, I've kept them in the refrigerator for weeks and they're just fine.

If you put them in the freezer or fridge, does the condensation make the hardened chocolate crack?

Sometimes, If I cover the balls too soon after I pull them from the fridge/freezer, they will crack as the cake comes to room temp. SO, I'm just wondering if they would do the same if they were frozen and then thawed?

Whenever I've done cake balls I've kept them refridgerated when they start warming up they sweat ana crack.
