i am supposed to make an anniversary cake with poinsettias on it. I would like to make them from either bc or royal icing. I have never worked with royal icing before. I am pretty clueless on how to make these. Can anyone give me some step by step instructions? Thanks!!!
Go to JoAnns and buy the Wilton (I forget if it's course 2 or 3) class book and there are instructions in there. Or go to the Wilton website, I believe they have it on there too.
Here is the wilton directions. They can be done either in buttercream or royal icing. If you do them in buttercream I'd do them directly on the cake. If you are doing them in royal you want to give them a few days to dry or they won't release from the foil nicely.
