I usually have a good sense about pricing cakes, but my friend asked me how much she shoulc charge for her truffles. She is making many different kinds and putting a variety of 16 in each box. I don't make them so I hoped someone here would have a better idea. How much would you charge for a box of 16 variety flavored truffles?
Thanks!

$15 if in a nice box. $13ish if more plain packaging.

Are they chocolate truffles or cake truffles?

it's a variety of different ones....mostly chocolate. I think she mentioned PB, White chocolate peppermint, cheesecake, oreo, cookie dough, raspberry, and some others.

And the box I think is a plain white box. Nothing too fancy.

Thanks!

If it's couverture, then more. If it's summer coating ("chocolate" melts), then less.

She probably should start from her costs.

Sorry so vague.

I'd say I'd pay atleast $20 for them if they are packaged nicely. Maybe a little more depending. You can't walk into a chocolate shop and get tuffles or a piece of fudge for very little.
