I have an airbrush and have used silver to airbrush a cake and it looks great. I've also used that silver airbrush color to paint small details silver. But for those places that I can't airbrush how do I get a good silver color? If I try to use the silver airbrush paint its very streaky. I've seen on some of the tv shows them mixing the color with vodka or vanilla but I don't know what it is they are mixing together. What works for everyone else?

You can mix silver luster dust with vodka or grain alcohol to make a paint.
