PLEASE PLEASE give me your suggestions on how to fix dry, crubling fondant!! I made 2 batches of Michelle Fosters Fondant last night and today it is totally un-usable! i have 2 cakes to do by Friday and really dont want to start over on the fondant, have any of you ever had this problem??
you might try microwaving it a bit, kneading and then adding some more crisco..... Sometimes you can even save dry fondant by microwaving it.
normally when mine starts to crack, I put crisco on my hands and work it into the fondant! After working the fondant with some crisco for a minute or two...it becomes smooth again!
