I am making the Darn Good Chocolate Cake recipe from CC and I forgot to add the pudding. I kept telling myself this batter doesn't look right. I saw the boxes of pudding sitting there and I thought they were added until I was cleaning up and went to throw the boxes away and they had not been opened. Will my cakes be ok? Do I need to just start over?

Since it's a doctored cake mix, the absence of the pudding (which is basically sugar and binders) won't result in a cake disaster.

The resulting cake just won't be as sweet and brownie-like. icon_smile.gif

Thank you ! I am soooo glad because I did not want to start over. I am filling and covering the cake with chocolate buttercream so I think it should be plenty sweet enough.
