As some of you know I just started a blog. And of course invited my family to watch it. WELL, let me just say my dad is getting alittle over protective about it.

heres an email he sent me:

""Here is a reason NOT to post your stuff too soon on the internet.

I have just seen another version of the snow globe cookie/cake on
that site you posted. It is ball shaped with a very familiar picture
of a snowman on it. I figure it is yours, or someone stole your
idea and improved on it. Be carful not to give away a million dollar
idea kiddo, you'll be kicking yourself in the bum for that.""

ok i could understand if it was a new invention or if I wanted to trademark the idea or something, but what I dont think he understands is that here in our community we share ideas, and inspriation.

I think the only thing that would make me upset is that if someone suddenly made one and said that they came up with the idea. I know that this may not be the first time someone has done this but if it is, I hope they would give credit.

Anyways that is all lol

Yeah, he just loves you and is trying to help you. He thinks you are talented and doesn't want you to be taken advantage of, even if he is being a bit silly.

Daddy loves his little girl and that is how it should be. He has a lot of faith in you and wants to protect you, it will always be that way. My dh is the same way with our daughter and she is 35 and he still sees her as his little girl. I think that is a good thing. I don't mean controlling lol

I think it's just WONDERFUL that you have a father who cares and believes so much in you! He's just looking out for you. You're one lucky gal to have a dad like that! thumbs_up.gif

No matter how old you get, your daddy is always going to protect his little girl. I am a grandmother and my father still feels the need to protect and defend his daughter.

Say, "thank you daddy, I love you too".

Happy Holidays!
