Hello All:] I have a few questions about making a jelly roll cake.
First of all is it possible to just make it using cake mix? Or do I have to modify it in some way?

Also, it there such thing as a tiramisu roll cake? if so please post up recipe:]

I can't answer your questions but a tiramisu cake roll sounds good. icon_smile.gif I might have to experiment with that one sometime!

I have found that any recipe that utilizes meringued egg whites works the best for me. it seems to bake evenly (without the hump in the middle) and has the right texture for rolling. I also think that the pan you bake in has a lot to do with it...I use the pampered chef stone 'cookie pan', it is just the perfect size for my jelly/pumpkin rolls which are always a hit with my family and friends.
