Okay so I am making about 5 DZ cookies (xmas trees, snow flakes, and snowman). I want to use the rolled butter cream on them. Does it harden like Royal Icing? My 6 yr old will be taking them to class tomorrow and I wasnt sure if this hardens.

It will harden, in time. It is rolled and cut like fondant. The only thing that i found with it was that once on the cookie it is greasy. I let them dry over night and then store. I make mine with the no fail sugar cookie and they are great. I also put the rolled butter cream onto the hot cookie so it will adhere. so while i have cookies baking i am cutting out the shapes getting them ready to put on as soon as I get the cookies on to the cooling rack. hope this helps.
