How long can a decorated cookie be stored in a cookie tin? I don't have freezer space to freeze them so I'm limited. I would like to decorate them as far in advance as I can. How many days before they become stale??? If I was to package each one separately would this help? Any advice would be appreciated.

5-7 days at room temperature in a baggie that is tied up. I would imagine it would be the same time frame in a tin. (Days 6 and 7 are starting to get a little stale).

They are good for several weeks in the freezer. But you have to wait until the frosting dries and then put them in a tupperware bin with a piece of wax paper on the bottom of the cookie and then a piece on top of the cookie. And then put the lid on.

Hope this helps.
